Has the resin tank or brine well shifted out of place during shipping? Let's get your unit put back together.
Refer to the picture below for how your resin tank and brine well (black tubing with numbers) should be sitting inside the basin of the salt tank.
1. First, you'll need to remove the top cover.
2. Now, you'll need to move the resin tank back into that molded area where it'll sit snug. The resin tank is heavy, so you may need another set of hands to help you with this if it's moved out of place significantly. Once you've put it back into place, go ahead to step 3. If you're unable to move it into place, you may need to remove the valve head or rim. Follow the instructions below:
- You can remove the valve head by disconnecting the clips around the tank neck.
- Then go ahead and wiggle the valve head little by little and lift it up and off. Set aside.
- Once removed, you can take off the rim by unclipping around the edges of the unit. Set aside while you move the resin tank.
3. If the brine well is out of place, you'll put that back. It's connected to the side of the tank with a screw and wingnut. Ensure it's securely attached.
4. If you removed the lid rim, go ahead and put it back on now.
5. If you removed the valve head, set that back on top of the resin tank and secure it with the tank neck clips.
6. Go ahead and put the top cover back on. You're done!
