The ferrule nut connects the brine hose to your venturi assembly, under the top cover. Follow the steps below to replace it.
Tools Needed:
Pliers (optional)
1. With a pair of sharp scissors, cut 1/4 inch off the end of the brine hose. Make sure to cut this squarely and not at a slant, to provide a good seal. If there is an existing nut on the hose, make this cut on the left side of the nut to remove it.
2. Slide your new ferrule nut over the brine hose with the threaded side of the nut facing the Venturi Assembly.
3. Push the end of the Brine Hose into the gray circular port of the Venturi Assembly.
4. Slide the Ferrule Nut up onto the gray threads.
5. Use a pliers or a wrench to carefully tighten the nut down. The nut will crimp the hose as you are screwing, so you may feel some resistance. Be careful not to damage the threads or screw the nut on too tight.
5. Pull gently on the brine hose to confirm it is secure.

Brine hose is too big to slide thru Ferrule nut. Might consider a bigger hole in the nut & add an Oring after
The brine hose popped off. I don't know how this was constructed because when I went to put the brine hose back through the ferrule nut it was way way too big! The previous comment got me thinkin and I drilled the whole just slightly bigger in the nut, got the brine hose to go through and was able to reconnect with a strong connection. Patting myself on the back now.
