The frequency of these recharges can range from a few days to over a week between cycles. The frequency of recharges will fluctuate based on your water use, and each recharge will be slightly different, using varying amounts of salt and water. The automatic recharges will only run at the time specified in your programming.
Your softener has an ongoing tally of how many recharges have happened since the initial installation. To access this:
1. Hold the Select button on your display panel until '000' appears, then let go.
2. Hold the Down arrow to display the total number of recharge cycle since installation. This is a tally of all the manual and automatic recharges.
Days of Service
3. To find how often your unit is recharging, hold the Up arrow. This is the total number of days your unit has been in service since it was initially plugged in.
4. Take the total days in service divided by the total number of recharges (from step 2). This will give you the average number of days between recharge cycles. See the example below:
104 Days / 17 Recharges = approx 6 Days between recharge cycles

How much water and salt is used in a recharge cycle?
If daily water usage is uniform at 100 gallons and water hardness setting is set at 20. After how many days. I should expect automatic recharge to take place? What salt dosage will it is use?
Kenny, thank you for your question. Your softener's control board is constantly computing and learning your water usage cycles, so we can only calculate a rough estimate for you. The RHS43 has 42,000 grains of capacity, divided by 20 gpg hardness give us about 2,000 gallons between recharges. With the numbers you gave, we would expect your softener to run a recharge every couple weeks.
Why aren't these features incorporated into the app ?
