Replacing the power supply is a quick and easy process and should only take a few minutes to swap out. Take a look at our instructions below on how to remove the top cover and locate the plug. Let's get started!
1. You'll need to remove the top cover. Be careful not to disconnect the wiring. If you need additional help, check out our article Removing the Top Cover.
2. To access the control board, release the two clips on the top of the faceplate. You'll find the control board snapped onto the backside of the faceplate.
3. The power supply plugs into the back left side of your control board. You'll see two red adaptors connected to the control board - unplug those and set the current power cord aside.
4. Go ahead and grab your new power cord. Plug the adaptors from the new cord into the same connection on the control board. It doesn't matter which red adaptor connects to which metal prong, they just both need to be connected to that spot.
5. Plug the opposite end of the cord in to the outlet and you should see the screen light up.
6. Secure your faceplate back into place and then put the top cover back on, snapping the back clips on securely. Depending on how long it was unplugged, you may need to reset the current time on the screen with the Up/Down arrows.
